حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِيهِ وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا كَانَ تِرَةً عَلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
English Translation
Wakee', from Sufyan, from Salih the freedman of at-Taw'amah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No people sit in a gathering in which they do not remember Allah and do not invoke blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, without it being a cause of grief for them on the Day of Resurrection."
