وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاءَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ هُمْ أَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً وَأَلْيَنُ قُلُوبًا وَالْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ وَالْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ وَالْخُيَلَاءُ وَالْكِبْرُ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْإِبِلِ وَالسَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ فِي أَصْحَابِ الشَّاءِ.
English Translation
And with his chain: he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Yemen have come; they are the most tender-hearted and the softest of heart. Understanding is Yemeni, faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni; and pride and arrogance are found among the owners of camels, while calm and dignity are found among the owners of sheep."
