English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Sulayman; and Abu Ahmad told us: Sufyan told us, from al-A'mash, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: "That the belly of one of you be filled with pus until it consumes him is better for him than that it be filled with poetry."
