حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيُمْنَى وَإِذَا خَلَعَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيُسْرَى لِيَنْعَلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا.
English Translation
Waki' told us: Shu'bah told us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you puts on his sandals, let him begin with the right, and when he takes them off, let him begin with the left, so that both are put on together or both taken off together."
