قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ خُبَيْبٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ خُبَيْبٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ عَنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَمِنْبَرِي رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَمِنْبَرِي عَلَى حَوْضِي.
English Translation
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Khubayb - and Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Malik informed us, from Khubayb, from Hafs ibn Asim, from Abu Hurayrah - or from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri - that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Between my house and my pulpit is a garden among the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit is upon my basin."
