حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ فَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَيَّ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِلْوَارِثِ.
English Translation
Mu'ammal narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am closer to every believer than his own self. Whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents in need, it falls to me; and whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs."
