حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَنْذِرُوا فَإِنَّ النَّذْرَ لَا يَرُدُّ شَيْئًا مِنْ الْقَدَرِ وَإِنَّمَا يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنْ الْبَخِيلِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Zuhayr, from al-Ala', from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: "Do not make vows, for the vow does not avert anything of the divine decree; it is only used to extract something from the miser."
