English Translation

He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik - he said, and Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Malik informed us, from Sumayy, the freedman of Abu Bakr, from Abu Salih al-Samman, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs ghusl on Friday" - in the hadith of Abd al-Rahman: "the ghusl of ritual impurity - then goes early, it is as if he offered a camel; whoever goes in the second hour, it is as if he offered a cow; and whoever goes in the third hour, it is as if he offered a horned ram" - Ishaq said: "a horned one" - "and whoever goes in the fourth hour, it is as if he offered a hen; and whoever goes in the fifth hour, it is as if he offered an egg. Then when the imam comes out, the angels come forward to listen to the remembrance."
