English Translation
Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Uqayl told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah, from Abu Hurairah, from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "There is no evil omen, and the best of it is a good omen." It was said, "O Messenger of God, what is the good omen?" He said, "A good word that one of you hears."
