حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ لِصَبِيٍّ تَعَالَ هَاكَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ فَهِيَ كَذْبَةٌ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Uqayl told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Hurairah, from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever says to a child, 'Come, here you are,' and then does not give it to him, that is a lie."
