حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ وَهَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي أُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ هِيَ أُمُّ الْقُرْآنِ وَهِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي وَهِيَ الْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun told us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b and Hashim ibn al-Qasim informed us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that he said regarding the Mother of the Qur'an [al-Fatihah]: "It is the Mother of the Qur'an, it is the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses, and it is the Magnificent Qur'an."
