حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رُفْقَةً فِيهَا كَلْبٌ وَلَا جَرَسٌ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, he said: Sharik told me, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The angels do not accompany a travelling party that has with it a dog or a bell."
