حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَنْ قَامَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ.
English Translation
Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Shayban narrated to us, from Yahya, he said: Abu Salamah informed me, that Abu Hurayrah informed him, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever stands (in prayer) during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins are forgiven. And whoever stands (in prayer) on the Night of Decree out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins are forgiven."
