حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْيَمِينُ الْكَاذِبَةُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ مَمْحَقَةٌ لِلْكَسْبِ.
English Translation
Affan narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "A false oath sells the merchandise but wipes out the profit."
