حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جَابِرٌ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ فَلْيُفْرِغْ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُمَا فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي فِيمَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ.
English Translation
Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr who said: Jabir informed me that Abu Hurayrah informed him that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When one of you wakes from his sleep, let him pour water over his hands three times before putting them into the vessel, for he does not know where his hand spent the night."
