حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكَنَّوْا بِكُنْيَتِي.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he used to say: "Name yourselves with my name, but do not use my kunyah (Abu al-Qasim)."
