حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنْ رَضِيَتْ فَلَهَا رِضَاهَا وَإِنْ كَرِهَتْ فَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا يَعْنِي الْيَتِيمَةَ.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said regarding an orphan girl: "If she is pleased, then she has her consent. If she is unwilling, then there is no authority over her" - meaning the orphan girl (in marriage).
