English Translation
With the same chain of narration, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood over some people who were sitting and said: "Shall I not tell you who is the best among you and who is the worst?" They remained silent. He repeated it three times. Then a man said: Yes, O Prophet of Allah, tell us who is the best and worst among us. He said: "The best of you is the one whose good is hoped for and whose evil is not feared, and the worst of you is the one whose good is not hoped for and whose evil is not safe from."
