حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ لَمَّا نِمْتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ لَدَغَتْنِي عَقْرَبٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ.
English Translation
A man from Aslam said: 'When I slept last night, a scorpion stung me.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Had you said when evening came: I seek refuge in the complete words of Allah from the evil of what He created, it would not have harmed you.'
