حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ يَقْرَأُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ أُعْطِيَ هَذَا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ النَّبِيِّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) heard Abdullah ibn Qays reciting and said: 'This one has been given a voice from the beautiful voices of the family of Prophet Dawud, peace be upon him.'
