حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ صَدَاقُنَا إِذْ كَانَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ أَوَاقٍ وَطَبَّقَ بِيَدَيْهِ وَذَلِكَ أَرْبَعُ مِائَةٍ.
English Translation
Our bridal gift (mahr) when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was among us was ten awaq (ounces of silver) - and he spread his hands - which is four hundred (dirhams).
