حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ وَأُرَاهُ ذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَوْ لَيَخْطِفَنَّ اللَّهُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'People who raise their eyes toward the sky during prayer must stop doing so, or Allah will snatch their sight.'
