حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ نَحَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَزُورًا فَانْتَهَبَهَا النَّاسُ فَنَادَى مُنَادِيهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يَنْهَيَانِكُمْ عَنْ النُّهْبَةِ فَجَاءَ النَّاسُ بِمَا أَخَذُوا فَقَسَمَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) slaughtered a camel and the people seized its meat hastily. His caller then announced: 'Indeed Allah and His Messenger forbid you from seizing (meat by force).' So the people returned what they had taken, and he distributed it among them.
