حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَرْسَلْتُ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ الْإِنْسَانِ كَيْفَ يَفْعَلُ بِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأْ وَانْضَحْ فَرْجَكَ.
English Translation
It was narrated that Hadrat Ibn `Abbas said: Hadrat 'Ali bin Abi Talib said: I sent al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to ask him about the madhi that comes out of a man: how should he deal with it? The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: `Do wudoo’ and sprinkle water on your private part.”
