حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةَ مُلْجَمًا بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There is no prophet except that he has tended sheep.' They asked: 'And you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Yes, I used to tend them for the people of Makkah for qirats.'
