English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The servant continues to have his supplication answered as long as he does not pray for something sinful or for the severing of ties of kinship, and as long as he is not hasty.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is being hasty?' He said: 'He says: I have prayed and prayed and I do not see any answer. Then he gives up at that point and abandons supplication.'
