حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ يُكْتَبُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةٌ وَيُمْحَى عَنْهُ بِهَا سَيِّئَةٌ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Recite the two bright ones — al-Baqarah and Al Imran — for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds in ranks, arguing on behalf of their companion.'
