حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَكَانَ مَعْمَرٌ يَقُولُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ثُمَّ قَالَ بَعْدُ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي زَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى كُلِّ حُرٍّ وَعَبْدٍ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ فَقِيرٍ أَوْ غَنِيٍّ صَاعٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ نِصْفُ صَاعٍ مِنْ قَمْحٍ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ الزُّهْرِيَّ كَانَ يَرْوِيهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Convey from me, even if it is one verse. Narrate from the Children of Israel without restriction. Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.'
