حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُفَّتْ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ وَحُفَّتْ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'O people, you will not do — or you will not be able to do — everything I command you. But strive for what is right and give glad tidings.'
