حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسُ مَعَادِنُ تَجِدُونَ خِيَارَهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ خِيَارَهُمْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِذَا فَقِهُوا.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not revile my Companions. If one of you spent the equivalent of Mount Uhud in gold, it would not reach the mudd of one of them, nor even half of it.'
