حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَنِي هُذَيْلٍ رَمَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى فَأَلْقَتْ جَنِينًا فَقَضَى فِيهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِغُرَّةٍ عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, from Malik, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, that two women of Banu Hudhayl - one of them threw something at the other, causing her to miscarry a fetus - and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ruled in the matter that a male or female slave be given as compensation.
