حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ قَطَنٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو قَطَنٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَبُو قَطَنٍ قَالَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْفُوعٌ إِذَا جَلَسَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الْأَرْبَعِ ثُمَّ جَهَدَهَا فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ.
English Translation
Amr ibn al-Haytham ibn Qatan - who is Abu Qatan - told us, Hisham told us, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurayrah - Abu Qatan said it is recorded as a raised report - "When he sits between her four limbs and then exerts himself with her, then washing becomes obligatory."
