حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا رِشْدِينُ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ هَذَا الْبَابِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَدَخَلَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ.
English Translation
Qutaybah ibn Sa'id told us: Rishdin informed us, from al-Hajjaj ibn Shaddad, from Abu Salih al-Ghifari, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The first to enter through this gate will be a man of the people of Paradise - and Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas entered.
