حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْآيَاتُ خَرَزَاتٌ مَنْظُومَاتٌ فِي سِلْكٍ فَإِنْ يُقْطَعْ السِّلْكُ يَتْبَعْ بَعْضُهَا بَعْضًا.
English Translation
Muammal told us: Hammad told us: Ali ibn Zayd told us, from Khalid ibn al-Huwayrith, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The signs are like beads strung on a thread; if the thread is cut, they follow one another.
