حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ شَهْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ وَمَنْ شَرِبَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ.
English Translation
Affan told us: Hammam told us: Qatada told us, from Shahr, from Abdullah ibn Amr, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever drinks wine, flog him; and whoever drinks it a second time, flog him; then if he drinks it a third time, flog him; then if he drinks it a fourth time, kill him."
