حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ.
English Translation
Attab ibn Ziyad told us: Abdullah informed us: Usama ibn Zayd informed us: Amr ibn Shu'ayb told me, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Amr, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, never shook hands with women when taking their pledge of allegiance.
