English Translation
Rawh told us: Thawr ibn Yazid told us, from Uthman al-Shami, that he heard Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani, from Aws ibn Aws al-Thaqafi, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever washes and takes a full bath [on Friday], goes early, arrives at the beginning, walks rather than rides, draws near, and listens attentively without idle talk, will have for every step he takes the reward of a year's standing [in prayer] and its fasting."
