English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: Muhammad - meaning Ibn Rashid - narrated from Sulayman ibn Musa that Abdullah ibn Amr wrote to his agent over some land of his: "Do not withhold excess water, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: 'Whoever withholds excess water to thereby withhold excess pasture, Allah will withhold His favor from him on the Day of Resurrection.'"
