حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ فَإِنَّهُ نُورُ الْمُسْلِمِ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَشِيبُ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةٌ وَرُفِعَ بِهَا دَرَجَةً أَوْ حُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ.
English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: Muhammad narrated from Sulayman from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Do not curse the dead, for they have reached what they sent forth.
