حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَأْذِنُهُ فِي الْجِهَادِ فَقَالَ أَحَيٌّ وَالِدَاكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَفِيهِمَا فَجَاهِدْ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Ma'mar informed us from Ayyub from Abu Qilabah from Abu al-Ash'ath al-San'ani from Abu Asma al-Rahbi from Thawban who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Do not fast on Friday unless you fast the day before it or the day after it.
