حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَمِسْعَرٌ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا صَامَ مَنْ صَامَ الْأَبَدَ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated from Amr ibn Dinar who heard a man from Egypt narrating from Abu Kabshah from Abdullah ibn Amr that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Do you know who the Muslim is? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: The one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe. He said: Do you know who the believer is? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: The one whom the believers trust with their lives and their wealth. And the emigrant is the one who abandons evil and avoids it.
