حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated from Isma'il: Amir narrated, a man came to Abdullah ibn Amr and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the emigrant (muhajir) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.
