حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخَيَّاطُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنَّا إِذَا اشْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامًا جُزَافًا مُنِعْنَا أَنْ نَبِيعَهُ حَتَّى نُؤْوِيَهُ إِلَى رِحَالِنَا.
English Translation
Abdullah said: I read this hadith to my father — Hammad ibn Khalid al-Khayyat narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated from al-Zuhri from Salim from his father who said: When we bought food in bulk during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), we were forbidden from selling it until we had moved it to our lodgings.
