حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ قَالَ لِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ وَكُونُوا إِخْوَانًا كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
English Translation
Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated from Ibn Jurayj who said: Sulayman ibn Musa said to me: Nafi narrated to us that Ibn Umar used to say: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Spread the greeting of peace, feed others, and be brothers as Allah the Almighty has commanded you.
