English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us: Muhammad, meaning Ibn Ishaq, narrated from Nafi from Ibn Umar who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade the sale of uncertain goods (gharar). That was because the people of the pre-Islamic period used to sell old she-camels for the offspring of the offspring (habal al-habalah), and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade that.
