English Translation
Abd al-Malik ibn Amr narrated to us: Hisham, meaning Ibn Sa'd, narrated from Zayd ibn Aslam from his father who said: I entered with Ibn Umar upon Abdullah ibn Muti. He said: Welcome Abu Abd al-Rahman, put a cushion for him. Ibn Umar said: I have only come to narrate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: Whoever withdraws his hand from obedience will come on the Day of Resurrection with no argument in his favor, and whoever dies while separated from the community dies a death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah).
