حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَالَ أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ يَعْنِي الْمَشْرِقَ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us; Layth told us; Uqayl told us, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from Abdullah ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood to deliver a sermon and said: "Indeed, tribulation is here, from where the horn of Satan arises" - meaning the east.
