English Translation
Abu al-Mughirah told us: Umar ibn Amr Abu Uthman al-Uhmusi told us: al-Mukharriq ibn Abi al-Mukharriq told me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that he heard him say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'My Basin (Hawd) is as wide as the distance between Adan and Amman, cooler than snow, sweeter than honey, and more fragrant than musk. Its cups are like the stars of the sky. Whoever drinks from it a single drink will never thirst again after it. The first of the people to come to it will be the destitute among the Emigrants.' Someone asked, 'And who are they, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Those whose hair is disheveled, whose faces are gaunt, and whose clothes are dusty; the gates are not opened for them, nor do they marry women of luxury; those who give all that is due from them but do not take what is due to them.'
