حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السِّوَاكُ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ مَرْضَاةٌ لِلرَّبِّ.
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: `The siwak is purifying for the mouth and pleasing to the Lord.”
