حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَسُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا خَرَجْنَا حُجَّاجًا مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ فَلَمْ يَحِلَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا عُمَرُ حَتَّى طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ قَالَ قَالَ سُرَيْجٌ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ.
English Translation
Yunus and Surayj ibn al-Nu'man told us, they said: Fulayh told us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: I do not know [it to be] other than that we went out as pilgrims intending Hajj, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and Umar did not exit ihram until they had circumambulated the House. Surayj said: "on the Day of Sacrifice, and [performed sa'y] between al-Safa and al-Marwa."
